Our History
The taste of our dedication

Among centuries-old roots
With the arrival of the Spanish explorers in late 1492, their culture and one of their most precious legacies were introduced to this continent: the olive tree, whose fruit contained remarkable properties for both cooking and health.
It was in the 1990s that farmers in the Pencahue Valley, located 250 kilometers south of Santiago, discovered centennial olive trees that had been preserved over time. Recognizing their virtues, they decided to cultivate this precious tree, extracting the delicate oil from within its fruit, thus beginning what is now Olivares de Quepu.
Our story begins in 1999 in the Pencahue Valley. Surrounded by centuries-old olive trees, we started our project on 80 hectares and have grown steadily to encompass almost 1,000 hectares, firmly rooted in this legendary land.
Every step counts
From our plant nursery to the final consumer, we control the entire process, to offer authentic, fresh, and high-quality extra virgin olive oil, made for those who value excellence and the pleasure of every drop.
Growing with respect
Our commitment is to care for the environment around us, minimizing the environmental footprint and creating a safe and friendly place for those who participate in our project, making the most of all the by-products resulting from the main process.
Projection grounded in our Roots
With a clear vision, we aim to be one of the leading players in the olive oil industry in Chile and the world, advancing with firm steps and a passion for doing things well done.
