Among centuries-old roots<\/h2>[vc_column_text css=””]With the arrival of the Spanish explorers in late 1492, their culture and one of their most precious legacies were introduced to this continent: the olive tree, whose fruit contained remarkable properties for both cooking and health.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was in the 1990s that farmers in the Pencahue Valley<\/strong>, located 250 kilometers south of Santiago, discovered centennial olive trees that had been preserved over time. Recognizing their virtues, they decided to cultivate this precious tree, extracting the delicate oil from within its fruit, thus beginning what is now Olivares de Quepu<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Our story begins in 1999 in the Pencahue Valley.
